Mealsphere Terms of Use

By using Mealsphere, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

Mealsphere is a local-first private menu library and meal recommendation tool. Recommendations are for everyday decision-making only, and you remain responsible for deciding what to eat based on your own circumstances.

2. Menu AI Recognition Subscription

Menu AI Recognition is an auto-renewable subscription that enables cloud AI recognition of dish names and prices from menu images inside the app. Without subscribing, you can still use on-device menu recognition and the app's other local features.

Subscription period: shown on the App Store purchase sheet
Price: shown on the App Store purchase sheet in the currency and storefront for your region
Renewal: the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Cancellation: you can cancel or manage the subscription from your Apple ID subscription management page

3. Purchases, Refunds, and Cancellation

Subscription purchases, renewals, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Refund requests must follow Apple's App Store process.

4. Availability

Cloud recognition may be affected by network conditions, model service availability, or Cloudflare service status. If cloud recognition is unavailable, the app falls back to on-device recognition.

5. User Content

You are responsible for managing the mealspheres, places, dishes, ratings, and history records that you create in the app. Please do not submit menu images containing sensitive personal information.

6. Disclaimer

Mealsphere aims to provide a stable menu management and recommendation experience, but it does not guarantee that recognition results, prices, or recommendations are always accurate. You should verify menu items and prices yourself.

7. Updates to These Terms

We may update these terms. Significant updates will be noted in the app or on this page.
