Mealsphere Terms of Use

Effective Date: July 28, 2026

These terms govern Mealsphere's optional community and cloud services. Your license to use the app is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

1. Agreement and Apple Terms

By using Mealsphere, you agree to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA about your license to the app, the Apple Standard EULA controls. If you do not agree, do not use the community or cloud services.

2. The Service

Mealsphere provides a private food library, meal recommendations, tasting progress, optional iCloud synchronization, a community for publishing and downloading mealspheres, and optional cloud menu photo recognition. Mealsphere is not a delivery, ordering, payment, merchant, nutrition, allergy, medical, or food-safety service.

3. Community Accounts

You can use private features and browse or download community content without a community account. Publishing and other account-level community actions require Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity authorized through your account and for keeping your Apple account and device secure. Mealsphere assigns a fixed generated public nickname and may use technical identifiers to operate and protect the account.

You may not create or use accounts to evade restrictions, impersonate another person, automate abusive activity, or interfere with the service.

4. Your Private and Public Content

Your private library remains private unless you explicitly publish a mealsphere. A community publication can make selected mealsphere, place, location, dish, price, and specification information public. Review the publication preview and remove personal, confidential, or sensitive information before publishing.

You keep ownership of content you create. By publishing, you grant Mealsphere a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and make the published content available for download, solely to operate, secure, improve, and moderate the community. This license ends when the content is permanently deleted, except for reasonable backup, security, moderation, or legal records and copies that other users downloaded before deletion.

5. Community Rules

You may publish only content you have the right to share. You must not publish or use the community for:

illegal, fraudulent, misleading, threatening, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or violent content;
personal data, private addresses, credentials, payment information, or other sensitive information;
copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights infringement;
spam, advertising, solicitation, malware, malicious links, or manipulation of community systems;
content unrelated to mealspheres, places, menus, or dishes; or
attempts to bypass reporting, blocking, authentication, rate limits, moderation, or security controls.

6. Reports, Blocks, and Enforcement

Users can report public content, block publishers, and contact support at lendfuz524@gmail.com. Mealsphere may review reports and may filter, restrict, unpublish, remove, or preserve content, and may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or the service, resolve disputes, or comply with law. We may act without advance notice when urgent safety, abuse, security, or legal concerns require it.

Moderation decisions may be imperfect. You may contact support with relevant details if you believe an action was taken in error.

7. Downloads and Third-Party Content

Community content is provided by users and is not endorsed or independently verified by Mealsphere. Downloading creates a private copy that you may edit for personal use. A publisher's later update or deletion does not automatically change or remove copies already downloaded. You are responsible for verifying names, locations, availability, prices, specifications, ingredients, allergens, and food-safety information.

8. Menu Photo Recognition Subscription

Menu Photo Recognition is an auto-renewable subscription that uses a cloud service to extract dish names, prices, and specifications from menu images. Results are estimates and should be reviewed before saving.

Duration and price: shown on the App Store purchase sheet for your storefront
Payment: charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase
Renewal: renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Management: cancel, manage, or restore through Apple subscription settings or the app where available

Apple handles subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds. Deleting a Mealsphere community account does not cancel an App Store subscription.

9. Account and Content Deletion

You can unpublish or permanently delete your publications and can delete your community account in the app after reauthenticating with Apple. Account deletion removes the account and associated community data from the active service as described in the Privacy Policy. It does not delete your private local or iCloud library and cannot recall copies other users already downloaded.

10. Availability and Changes

Service availability may be affected by networks and providers such as Apple, Cloudflare, and BigModel/GLM. We may maintain, secure, modify, suspend, or discontinue service components and may update reasonable technical limits. We will use reasonable efforts to communicate material changes when appropriate.

11. Disclaimers and Responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and the Apple Standard EULA, Mealsphere and its cloud services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that user content, recognition results, locations, prices, specifications, or recommendations are complete, current, accurate, or suitable for your circumstances. You remain responsible for food, health, allergy, safety, travel, purchasing, and publishing decisions.

12. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms when features, community rules, or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law. For questions or moderation appeals, contact lendfuz524@gmail.com.
